ASA Observes International Women’s Day-2019 through Apt Events

ASA has observed International Women’s Day-2019 through befitting events. ASA President Md. Shafiqual Haque Choudhury formally inaugurated the International Women’s Day observation by releasing pigeons and balloons in front of ASA Tower at 10:30 AM on the day.

On the occasion, a discussion program was held at ASA Central Office with ASA President Md. Shafiqual Choudhury as chief guest. In his speech ASA president said that men should come forward and do more for asserting equal rights and due dignity of the womenfolk of our country. He also opined that over the generations a significant success has been achieved in realizing the ultimate freedom of women.

Mrs. Rabeya Akther Choudhury, Member of ASA Governing Body, M Abdul Aziz, Senior Deputy President, ASA and Prof. Dr. Dalem Chandra Barman also spoke in the occasion. Enthusiastic women and men dressed with befitting attires belonging to all ages took part in those events.
